SANTO DOMINGO. – Dan Edwards, CEO & global founder of MyFunLIFE International, in the company of his top executives, recently inaugurated the country´s corporate offices. Attending on behalf of the Minister of Tourism Francisco Javier Garcia was Fausto Fernandez who currently serves as Deputy Minister of Tourism. Many other entrepreneurs were present at the modern business center as well as people linked to technology, tourism and communications.
Father Alexis Debers offered the priestly blessing while the welcoming remarks were given by Huascar Lopez, a Ruby in the company and corporate pioneer for the country. With capital investment from the United States, the technological Apps (mobile applications) company has its modern office located at the Merengue Plaza on February 27th Avenue, corner with Tiradentes. It was there that Dan Edwards and his wife Carrie —who are the main executives for the company— performed the symbolic ribbon-cutting ceremony.
While thanking the Government´s support through the Ministry of Tourism and the promising future that he expects through this relationship, Edwards emphasized the special interest MyFunLIFE has in adding this country to 45 others where they currently operate. "We come with much love and complete decision to support the Dominicans, being assured that our company is here to improve their lives and to plant hope. Ever since I knew of this country, I fell in love with it," said the high-level CEO who was visibly moved with emotion.
For his part, Deputy Minister of Tourism Fausto Fernandez, stressed the importance of the company MyFunLIFE in boosting tourism through technology and ratified the support that the Minister has guaranteed in that sense.
During the event, the company's leadership for the country was officially presented, being composed by Billy Berroa son (Diamond), Abraham De Jesus (Ruby), legal representative and Ricardo Sanchez (Ruby).
